It is with profound respect and heartfelt appreciation that the Mandel Jewish Community Center (JCC) announces the resignation of Paul L. Gross, Chairman of the Board of Directors. Paul has chosen to relinquish his responsibilities several months shy of the conclusion of his term in an effort to kick-start the agency’s governance leadership transition. As “immediate past chair,” he plans to remain an active member of the Board of Directors to continue his work on behalf of the JCC and the Palm Beach Jewish community.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL (January, 2016) – For those seeking the fun balance between carb loading and a community race, the Mandel JCC of the Palm Beaches will present its inaugural “Bagel Dash” 5K Run and Walk Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 7:30 a.m. This fun, family-oriented race features a looped course by Lake Osbourne through John Prince Park in Lake Worth, followed by a bagel breakfast presented by Strathmore Bagels & Deli. The race is open to all ages and the first 300 people to register will receive a dri-fit shirt and goodie bag.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (February 1, 2016) – The Mandel JCC Palm Beach Gardens will debut an impressive exhibition, “Unbounded: Bringing Art to Life,” featuring the works of talented 18-year old Zachary Rapaport on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. The exhibit runs through March 24, 2016 in the Bente S. and Daniel M. Lyons Art Gallery and is free and open to the community. Rapaport’s exhibit combines engineering with art, featuring a kinetic installation brought to life through interaction, movement and performance.

The Mandel JCC, Palm Beach Gardens announced this month the launch of JSwim. A multifaceted swim program, it provides swim lessons for babies to adults in group and private capacities, as well as water aerobics classes, lap swimming, pool parties, and more. In 2017, the JCC will kick off JSwim Team for those looking to compete.
